Oh oh..Is my eye playing tricks on me? The Kaws grey be@rbrick just drops not so long ago and we are seeing this. This is a must get for me.

Getting sentimental about be@rbrick

I am not sure about you guys. But to me every be@rbrick has a story behind it. What i mean is not the be@rbrick design but where you get those be@rbricks, especially if they are bought in other countries when you travelled. I just sold off some of my favourite be@rbricks, i.e the Vernon Panton be@rbrick set, Franc Franc X'Mas be@rbrick and the Franc Franc Futuristic be@rbrick Set. And each has its memory. I got my Franc Franc Futuristic be@rbrick on my trip to Hong Kong at the Franc Franc shop. During that time, i dont really know much about be@rbrick. That was one of the first set that i bought. I still remember that beside the be@rbrick, i actually bought a X'mas tree over there to decorate my friend's house. That was my first time decorating a X'mas tree too!! What wonderful memory!

As for both the Vernon Panton and the Franc Franc X'mas be@rbrick, i bought them when i was in Japan last year. I still remember i was pretty disappointed that i couldnt find a lots of be@rbrick to buy in Japan. Hence was really excited when i came across this Franc Franc X'mas be@rbrick while just walking around the store. The Vernon Panton be@rbrick was bought on my last day in Japan. This too was bought through pure luck. We will just walking around when we saw Stitch Store and bought the be@rbrick there. It wasnt what i really want but when you couldnt find any be@rbrick, you will just grab any if you find one. And that's what i did!

Is there any be@rbrick that has a special value/memory/meaning for you?

Wish i understand Japanese

Ok, this post is not really totally related to be@rbrick but somehow there is still some link to it. Have you ever ask yourself this, 'Why didnt i learn more languauge when i was young, especially Japanese?' I always ask myself this when i come across the Japan Yahoo auction and realise they have so much be@rbrick and selling cheaper than the Ebay. Here are some of them if you understand the language. Bootleg Kaws Grey Be@rbrick??

I know that there are actually a lot of fake tshirt of street brand coming out from China but i didnt know that there is even be@rbrick coming out from there. I am not too sure how the quality will turn out. This site is actually taking pre-order of them. Since they are selling Grade A, i assuming this is also Grade A and not the original. I am really quite curious to see the differences of the original out from Medicom and a Grade A. Can anyone order from them and do a comparison? Of course, i am not encouraging people here to get bootleg. Always get the original and support the artist!!

This is not mine of course. Taken from Colette. How i wish i can have all of them. I only have 1 out of the 4. I would think the 1000% will be the hardest to get if you dont get it now though i must say the price now is insane. But you will never know how much you will have to fork out in the future if you want this.

Kaws Grey (Mono) Be@rbrick Set

Finally got mine today but was shocked at first when i only received one set as i ordered both. In the end, found out that each person can only order 1 set. They didnt even tell me when i place my order. I have even planned how i am going to display the Kaws grey be@rbrick with the original between them. Now i can only put the grey side by side with the original. =(. Anyway, this Kaws grey be@rbrick looks real good. And i feel a little of regret that i didnt get the 1000% this time round. Good thing is i get to save the money as i dont think i so crazy to get the Colette 1000% First Baby Be@rbrick at their site.

This was actually released in 2005 2007 and i got it 5 3 years later. ( Thanks Jevi for the correction, see more info here if you read chinese) Kenny Copperhead Be@rbrick is a collaboration with Levis. There are actually 6 Levis collaboration and this is one of them. The others below. The most talked about one is the Clot (Watermelon and Strawberry ) as the 1000% is coming out pretty soon. Hmm..should i now complete the whole of 6??
