Arkiv "Escapist" Solo Show

Toy Art Gallery is proud to present “Escapist”, a solo show from renowned Indonesian artist Arkiv Vilmansa. The exhibit will feature new painted works, sculptures, limited edition prints and a special preview release and signing of the new figure “The Sumo”. “Over the past several years, artist Arkiv Vilmansa’s iconic character ‘Arkiv Instant’ has made the artist a household name within the lowbrow art and toy culture scene. Not much news on be@rbrick so will blog about other stuffs which i think will interest the readers too. Art Asylum Boston presented "Art Strikes Back" last Friday. Many artists come out with their own interpretation of the Star Wars. These artists include some of my favourite Arkiv Instant and Kaws. Check out photos of the exhibit here.

Arkiv Metal Mickey Print

Yeah!! Got my Arkiv Metal Mickey print after almost a month as Arkiv is busy with TTF09. Anyway, i'm loving this and the more i look at it, i kinda of regret not getting the Arkiv Instant when it is on preorder. Now it is almost impossible to get it.Haiz.. Hopefully i can score the GID Arkiv Instant. For now, I have to go shop for frames to hang my prints on my wall.

Arkiv x adFunture Exclusive Print at TTF09

Arkiv, an Indonesian artist has recently come out with the Arkiv Instant vinyl pre-order (it was closed by now, hence no where you can get it unless someone willing to sell it to you). I have also bought his Mickey print but yet to receive it , will definitely post it when i got it. Anyway, he will be in TTF doing some live painting and exclusively customize his GID Arkiv Instant which is an exclusive for TTF and limited to 30 pieces. Also, there will be this limited edition print released during the event. How i wish i'm there to get the GID.. (Source : Toysrevil)
