KAWS 2012 AstroBoy Companion

This a pretty fast release after the KAWS resting place. Would i try my hands on it? Hmm...not really. Not really a fan of Astroboy but if i can get at retail price. Why not.

The product of famed Japanese cartoonist Osamu Tezuka, the resulting interpretation finds the character sheepishly covering his iconic face. The AstroBoy Companion will be available at select retailers on October 27 for ¥18,090 JPY (approximately $231 USD)."

A nice photo of the KAWS Dissected Companion: Resting Place. It has been a long time when a new toy release get so many people excited. Looks like this is definitely going to be sold out in a flash. I believe this will be released in a week or two.

EDIT: The price is out, going for around SGD 400, releasing end of August at OriginalFake store and i assume it will be release in Kawsone few weeks after.

Kaws - Partners Statue

Would i buy this? I would say no unless i have all the KAWS pieces and this will definitely be the centre piece of my KAWS collection. And since i have only a few of KAWS pieces and this just doesnt fit into my current collection now. If you are asking why KAWS is coming out with this "Partners" statue, this is actually a spoof of the statue of Disney and Mickey. This will be released this week at USD 190. I am sure it will be out at kawsome too and be prepare for this to be a sell out once again. As you know it, KAWS is HYPE!!

KAWS Snoopy was released at Kawsone yesterday. In case you want to get it, they are all SOLD OUT at Kawsone but fear not, i bet they will appear in Ebay and if you are patience enough, you may even get it at below retail price of USD 180. As expected, long queues were formed outside OF store in Tokyo. Now you know KAWS is that HYPE and FAMOUS!! (Pic: Saza)
