Found this rather interesting news on Yue MinJun Be@rbrick which were auctioned in 2008. Guess what price did this piece auction? This was auctioned at a whopping price of NTD 6mio which works out to be around SGD 300,000. This is quite alot of money. And it also shows that China contemporary artists' work are in demand now, especially Yue Minjun's art pieces. Read about the article in chinese here
